“Imagine where you can go with a scholarship and a dream!”
Subject: The Power of a Routine
Happy Monday, Imagine Family! We want to welcome all 15,000+ students, parents and educators to Money Monday this week.
I’ll get straight to it. I’m here to do 2 things for you:
Give you valuable information to help you find money for college and be smart with your money
Give you tips on how to be your best self as a student, parent or educator
Think of me as your own personal cheerleader through the college admissions, scholarship and life success process. Ready? Let’s Go!
This week has been a busy one for me. I moved my daughter back to college, and I’m working on some fun and exciting resources for you. I forgot how much energy there is on college campuses this time of year. It’s electrifying! This week I dropped my daughter off at Texas A&M / Whoop! If you are moving into your dorm soon, here is a (silly) video of several girls giving a tour of their dorm room at Texas A&M.

Sense of Accomplishment

Looking for ways to connect with your student as the new school year begins?
Try asking them about their goals for the year and hear what they are thinking. Then send them encouragement through texts, mail or calls throughout the year keeping them motivated in those goals.
Educator’s Edge
Looking for ways to help your students be most successful? Have you thought about storytelling? Your skills to deliver information in creative ways will be crucial to the students retaining information. There is an art to storytelling and I’m personally working on it myself. I want to be a great storyteller to transfer guiding information in creative and motivating ways.
One of my favorite books on this topic is: Made to Stick - NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER. This book is an instant classic about why some ideas thrive, why others die, and how to make your ideas stick. It’s great for educators, students and parents.

Imagine Family, I hope you have the best week this week. I encourage you to be curious this week. Read something new and find a new quote from it. Write down the quote and post it on your bathroom mirror. Plan a routine for yourself and see if it helps you be more productive.
We want to know you !
We look forward to hearing from you soon!
