Theme of the Week: Spring Into Financial Wellness
Spring is a season of new beginnings—and your finances could use a fresh start too! Whether you’re saving for college, managing your money in school, or teaching others how to budget, now’s the perfect time to reset and refresh.
🌼 Words of Wisdom
"Do not save what is left after spending, but spend what is left after saving."
—Warren Buffett

🌸 Money talks don’t have to be hard—they just have to happen.
🍎 For Educators:
Financial Wellness = Student Readiness

Challenge them to do a no-spend week or bring lunch from home.
Share Imagine Scholarships with them—spring is prime time to search.
🌼 Plant seeds now; watch success grow.

💰 Scholarship of the Week - Do you Have SCHOOL SPIRIT?
Passion. Support. Excitement. Ambition. Dedication.
These are the qualities you'll find in a 1st Place Spiritwear scholarship applicant.
Here's what you need to know —
The scholarship is open to all high school seniors in the US who will be attending college in 2025 (community college or a 4-year university!)
Applicants must write a short essay (300-500 words or more) to show how they demonstrate school spirit
Applications must be submitted through the website. Deadline is May 1.
Imagine Scholarships’ Tip: Be sure to search for scholarships using keywords that describe you! Your hobbies, interests, career goals, extra-curricular activities and major in college are all good words to try. There are scholarships for vegetarians and cancer survivors and students whose lives have been affected by Alzheimer’s just to name a few. Some scholarships encourage you to write essays or create videos to apply. Keywords can be any word that could be included in the name or description of a scholarship. Brainstorm a list of words and see what awards you can find!
